CG Analysts Ltd. to bring tertiary life settlement policies to the market using its ground-breaking auction portal.
CG Analysts (CGA) are making final preparations to bring life settlement policies and portfolios to the tertiary market for sale. In April, the company will be launching the sales side of the Policy Management Portal (PMP), its revolutionary life settlements process management and auction portal, the online vehicle through which all sales will be made.
CGA, already well known in the market for its wide range of specialist services provided to institutions in the longevity/life settlement sectors, recognized a need in the market for a sale/purchase process management system that ensures transparency, simplicity, confidentiality and security. The solution is PMP, a policy management system which will effectively handle every stage of a policy sale. PMP will manage the entire process from initial bid right through to sale completion in a secure, easy-to-use and intuitive environment and will also include the option to download CGA’s innovative PMP Ticker for live on-screen updates with direct links to all auctions. PMP has been designed with all the features you would expect, such as easy bidding; automatic messaging for outbid notifications, auction start and end alerts etc.; the ability to set a maximum bid amount to allow PMP to automatically increment bids up to the user’s maximum, as well as a personal area for creating and storing notes, viewing account activity and current bids, creating and managing watchlists and messaging CGA through a secure channel.
Sean Quinn, Managing Director at CG Analysts Ltd, said “The aim of PMP is to provide a seamless and efficient transaction process that is currently so lacking in the life settlement market. We believe that PMP represents a first in the industry, given its intuitive, transparent and automated structure and the provision of live updates, both through PMP itself and the associated PMP Ticker application.”
The PMP software and processes have been developed in compliance with CGA’s ISO9001:2015 international standards quality management accreditation. Confidentiality, transparency, risk compliance and data security are of paramount importance in the development process. To protect all data held on the system, PMP operates at 256-bit encryption and has been designed to implement permission levels for each stage, from initial bidding right through to transaction completion. In the initial bidding stage, all interested parties will be able to view sufficient policy information necessary to evaluate a case prior to placing a bid. The ultimate auction winner will gain access to all case documentation for due diligence purposes prior to closing. The closing process itself will also be handled through PMP, allowing the purchaser to track progress on a real-time basis and providing irect interaction with the escrow agent. All activity on PMP is date and time stamped and recorded within the case file for audit purposes.
PMP will be accessible 24/7 and, being time-zone friendly, will operate in users’ local time (based on their computer settings) ensuring that all activity is seen with local timings, regardless of location. Access to PMP will be simple with free registration and no membership or signup fees. Once registered, users will be authorized to view information relating to, and overviews of, each policy available for sale. All bids will be made directly in PMP with on screen help for each stage in a fully automated auction process which includes bidding prompts, updates on the bidding status and access to the PMP secure messaging facility.
Anyone interested in the purchase of life settlement policies and/or portfolios can register their interest now in order to have access to PMP when the system goes live with policies placed for auction. For information or to request an account on PMP email pmp@cganalysts.com
